WHY IRM ?
Allah Almighty sent a line of prophets to liberate humanity from the clutches of evil and animalistic desires. They showed them the path of love and ‘Marafah’ to purify their inner selves, so that they could establish durable relationship with Allah Almighty. Our beloved Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) came at the end of this chain. After him, there will arrive no prophet and Rasool Allah.
WHY BAIAH ?
Baiah is an Arabic language word which means sell. In spiritual connotation, it means that a devotee gives his hand in the hands of a Murshid-e-Kamil and intends that he would obeys all the orders of his spiritual master in order to achieve purity of his heart and soul and love of Allah Almighty and the blessed Holy Prophet (ﷺ) By this, he surrenders his will to the will of his Sheikh.
WHY ZIKAR?
Heart is very important in the realms of Islamic teachings because this is the place where the light of Iman (faith) rests. This is also known as the king of all the body parts. If a heart is pure and free from blemishes and stain of sin, all the deeds and intentions of the person get purified. Similarly, if a heart is polluted with sins and corruption, this results in bad deeds and sinful life of that person.
WHY MEDITATION ?
This Muraqaba is a kind of meditation that these devotees do in order to get purity of their hearts. According to these spiritual masters, there are four types of hurdles in attaining this much needed inner purity in human beings: (1) this world (2) the creations (3) Satan (4) Nafs Ammara These are the obstacles that one can overcome to achieve Tazkiya or purity of one’s inner self.
